This platter is lovely and the pictures are pretty true to life. It's not terribly deep, about 1 inch or so, but it's a good sized platter and I love it. Again this is something I acquired because I was looking for a glass bowl or object I might be able to turn into a vessel sink. I think it would be a touch to shallow for that but I'm still pleased with the purchase.
