Chances are, you find that most re-usable grocery shopping bags are just too darn small. These large straw bags are the same type used in markets in the south of France. They are heavy-duty, hold A LOT of groceries, and pretty too. Perfect strangers compliment me on these straw totes almost every time I go to the grocery store.

I only take this bag when I'm out at the local farmer's market. I don't bring a wallet, just cash stashed deep within my pockets, but I do bring this lovely bag to keep all the wonderful fruits and veggies.

Have used a couple of these raffia totes for years....one in each vehicle so I always have them when I go shopping. Glad to find some new ones!! And at a good price and fast shipping.....thank you! Will buy some more for friends too.

The bag is cheaper looking in person. But I wanted an inexpensive beach or pool bag that would keep just for this summer. This bag is useful in that I don't have to worry about it getting ruined with sand and tanning lotions....b/c if it does--I didn't spend so much. So I do like it for that reason. And the Trader's company packing and mailing are EXCELLENT!
