I was happy with mine. But it seems the quality can vary greatly.
Note that both the ceramic bowl and rattan bowl can be used separately (or kept together).
With the other review noting quality issues, the best recommendation is to buy it through Amazon since you can return with no difficulty.

Very poor quality. Loved the design but there were so many flaws in the bowl that I had to return it.
